The next exciting Pokémon trading cards are already on the horizon: China has now revealed the first Illustration Rare promo cards from the “First Partner Illustration Collection – Series 2”.

This time, the spotlight is on beloved starter Pokémon from the regions of Johto, Unova, and Galar — each featuring beautiful artwork showcasing iconic locations and items from their respective regions.

For collectors of unique Pokémon artwork, these promos could quickly become standout highlights.

What Is the First Partner Illustration Collection?

The First Partner Illustration Collection is a special product line focused on starter Pokémon from different regions. Instead of standard promo cards, fans receive beautifully designed Illustration Rare cards that capture the atmosphere and charm of each Pokémon world.

What makes them special: each card not only features the Pokémon itself but also recognizable locations, items, and visual elements tied to its home region.

Series 2 focuses on the following regions:

• Pokémon Gold & Silver – Johto starter Pokémon
